Physical contact, usually called touch, was when a person or thing came into contact with another person or thing.

Touching was crucial for the Wonder Twins using their Exxor powers. Lovers also often touched each other while kissing or making love.

Circa 1973, after Robin got beat up by the Joker's gang, Batgirl touched his head to see if he was all right.[2]
