Superman demonstrates his Superhuman strength.[1]

Physical strength was the ability of a human or animal to exert force on physical objects using muscles. Increasing physical strength was the goal of strength training. Superhuman Strength was strength beyond that of a normal human. Some Metahumans and aliens possessed super strength. Also, some people who used drugs that were steroids, such as Bane, also possessed such super strength. Too, characters such as Metallo or Cyborg, or other characters with cybernetic enhancements also may have had superhuman strength.

The word strength was also sometimes used to describe the toughness of certain objects. For example, Superman was often called the Man of Steel, because he had strength like steel (actually stronger).

It could also be used to refer to a person of good character (strength of character), as well as a person's inner strength, or his will power.

  2. This is just conjecture. We can assume that his strength is at least close to class 100, but not quite, since he's normally only a match for Superman when he's using his Green Kryptonite heart.
