Lucas "Snapper" Carr has often been referred to as the Justice League of America's mascot.

Snapper Carr was also a 'Junior Member of the JLA' while he was in his teens.[1]

Background Information

In the parallel universe, known as Earth-One, Snapper Carr is an otherwise seemingly average person who has no special abilities, although he has at times gained the ability to teleport through a latent meta-gene. His real name is Lucas Carr, but he gets his nickname from his habit of continually snapping his fingers.

Snapper became an honorary member of the Justice League of America during their first adventure fighting against Starro the Conqueror where he inadvertently leads to them defeating the monster. The roster at the time included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, the Flash and Martian Manhunter, with Snapper as their mascot.[2] Snapper was put in charge of maintaining their headquarters, the Secret Sanctuary in Happy Harbor.

As Snapper grew older, he resigned from the League voluntarily after a plot by the Joker tricked him into betraying his friends.[3]
