Phasing was the ability to pass through solid matter. It was similar to Density Control, except that it only allowed oneself to lower density, rather than increase it.
It was also similar to intangibility, except that not every intangible being was able to pass through solid matter. For example, someone with the ability to transform into gas was rendered intangible, but they were not capable of passing through solid matter. Phasing strictly involved passing through solid matter.
