Batman having a memory about his parents[2]

Memory referred to a function of the brain or a computer which was capable of storing and recalling information, such as our own experiences.

Computer memory was able to store computer files, but they were generally quite limited compared to that of the Human brain.

Memory loss

Memory was often fragmentary and could even be lost, especially when a person experienced amnesia. Such a loss of memory was common, especially in adulthood, as adults generally couldn't remember things from when they were babies or very young children. Many other reasons also might have been attributed to a loss of memory.

Memorial

A memorial was usually a monument or something similar that was constructed in memory of a person who had died. The Lincoln Memorial was an example of a memorial.
