Three people digging.[1]

Digging was when a person used a shovel or something else to remove dirt from the ground, to make a hole.

This was done to bury treasure, corpses etc. It was also done to search for mineral deposits.

History

Earth 1956

In 1977, a group of three Brazilian geologists were digging in the Amazon at a Jivaro Burial Ground. They were unaware that was where they were, and when one of the geologists dug up a burial necklace, he was told to quickly put it back, and they immediately filled the holes back up. But it was too late-- they had been discovered by the Jivaros from a nearby village. They were later rescued by Wonder Woman and Rima of the Superfriends.[2]
