Cod was a type of fish native to the planet Earth.

They were common in both the North Atlantic as well as different regions of the Pacific.

History

Earth-1A

During a famine caused by the Water People, a cod informed Aquaman that the fish were doomed. If they were to flee to another region of the ocean, that would spell disaster, and if they stayed, they would surely starve.[2]
